Meet Our Teachers

About Miss Nicky

Hi, my name is Nicky Tripp.  I am the Owner/Director of Bright Blessings.  My husband Terry and I have owned the center since 2019.  I have two children Savannah and Keaton, who are both grown.  

I grew up in the rural Hamler area and attended Patrick Henry Schools.  I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Findlay and a Masters Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Bowling Green State University.

 I am a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Bavaria where I sit on Church council and teach the 2nd grade 1st Communion class. I have been a board member for the Henry County Board of D.D. HOPE Services since 2021. I am additionally employed by the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center where I work as an Intervention Specialist at the HOPE Center in Edgerton Ohio, working with children on the autism spectrum.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking walks, and reading.

About Miss Ellie

Hi, my name is Ellie West. I have worked at Bright Blessings since August of 2023 as the administrator and lead preschool teacher. I have an associate’s degree in early childhood education through the University of Cincinnati and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification from the Council for Professional Recognition, a National Credentialing Program for Early Childhood Educators. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Bowling Green State University and studied in Spain for 4 months. Before coming to Bright Blessings, I worked at our other location: Sing, Giggle, & Grin (located in Deshler, OH) for the past 5 years. I live with my husband, Chris, our two kids, Wyatt and Penny, and our dog, Lucy.

I have always loved children; from baby dolls to tutoring and babysitting, children’s ministry teacher, and now early childhood educator. In my free time, I enjoy biking, reading, and being with my family.
